We were delighted to attend the Women in Wholesale (WiW) Speed Mentoring event last week in London. Members of our HR, Graphics and Warehouse teams joined more than 100 other attendees to gather in central London and enjoy ten mentoring sessions, delivered by industry experts. Group General Manager Terry Larkin, who also attended the event, said “Being mentored and having industry sponsors are key to how talent in our business can progress, so events like this are invaluable.
We are delighted to announce that more than half of applications for our recent branch manager vacancies were from females – a total first! Chief Operating Officer for JJ Foodservice, Mushtaque Ahmed, said: “Traditionally, it has always been men that have applied for these roles.
